 CE Course and Tracking Information. Continuing education information for licensees and CE providers


For Initial Licensure

Hearing Aid Specialist applicants are required to submit proof of completion of the following:

  • Two (2) hours of Florida Laws and Rules
  • Two (2) hours of prevention of medical errors
For Initial Licensure Renewal

Licensees initially licensed in the biennium prior to renewal are exempt from continuing education requirements.

For Renewal of License Following Your First Biennium

Licensees must complete 20 hours of approved CE within the two year licensure period (biennium) to include the following:

  • Two (2) hours HIV/AIDS and other communicable illness (may take up to four (4) hours)
  • Two (2) hours relating to hearing aid laws and rules
  • Two (2) hour course relating to prevention of medical errors
