Fuel Tanks
In 1989, the St. Lucie County Health Department contracted with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to monitor the under- and above ground fuel tanks throughout the county. Staff review plans and inspects the installation and removal of tanks, as well as routinely inspecting approximately 950 tanks annually.
