Since Calhoun County has an obesity rate of 34%, which exceeds the state and national averages, we at the health department are making efforts to address this problem. This website is for our residents who are interested in losing weight.
Here you will find tips, resources and motivation to begin your own weight loss program.
We are also offering free weight loss counseling for our patients, forming community outreach programs, and listing health tips in the local newspaper, The County Record, to help everyone stay healthy.
